About this item
A nineteenth century, oval copper jelly mould. This is marked with a pattern number ‘624’ and it dates from c.1880. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper. The design consists of four dome topped columns which are divided by elaborate scrolls. There were a couple of tiny pin holes in the mould but these have now been filled and repaired so they are not visible. The tinning, to the interior, is worn. Otherwise it is in good condition.
