About this item
An original copper antique cake mould. Made of pressed /beaten copper and tin-lined interior, This large round mould was for baking cakes and puddings such as Savarin/Rum Baba, Bundt or Brioche . Now they tend to be wall hangings and are bets displayed with the original patina rather than polishing every few weeks. This one is late nineteenth century with a medium gauge copper and shiny tin. Original hanging ring is present and less dust in this one
