About this item
A Victorian copper, ice cream, bombe mould. This is English and it dates from c.1880. The interior was lined with ice cream, a filling put into the centre and then covered with ice cream and frozen. When turned out, and cut into, the filling would explode out, hence a ‘bombe’ mould. The brass screw in foot, when removed, makes it easier to get the ice cream out of the mould by allowing the air in. This example is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in usable condition.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Western Europe add £10.
