About this item
A large, early 20th century, copper kugelhopf mould. This is marked “WAGNER WEST GERMANY” with a hammer inside a W, which is the mark of Christian Wagner, and it dates from c.1920. This company of coppersmiths trading for centuries, only closing in 1995. The mould is made from quite a substantial gauge of copper, has a rolled rim and a small, steel ring handle for hanging. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in good, usable condition.
