About this item
A rare, five part, French copper mould which, when put together, would turn out a Pagoda. Each of the five sections is marked “TROTTIER PARIS” and they date from c.1870. Individually the parts look very attractive as a hanging display but when turned out, the pieces would be tiered, with the largest at the base, and this would form a table centrepiece in the shape of a Pagoda. This would probably have been used for cake and would have been very impressive. All parts are in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn so they could not be used without first having them re-tinned.
All five parts have small, steel hanging loops attached.
Dimensions: Overall height (when the parts are together) 25cm. Overall width 23cm.
Individually: Largest part: Width 23cm. Height 8cm. Smallest: Width 12 cm. Height 4.4cm. All other parts are well graduated between these two.
Price includes postage within the U.K., shipping to the U.S.A. and most of Western Europe.
