About this item
A nineteenth century, French copper pipe mould with a rope twist top. This design displays equally well either on a shelf or hanging. It has a rope twist top with fluted sides but when you look at it from the top it is shaped like a cog. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper, has castellated seams and dates from c.1860. On the side it is stamped ‘A.G’ and these would have been the initials of a previous owner. There is very slight pitting to the copper and a small hole has been pierced about 2.5cm. from the rim. The hole was probably pierced so that the mould could be hung. Other than this it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Western Europe add £10.
