About this item
A Victorian, oval copper mould with a pennytop design to the top. This mould is made from a heavy gauge of copper, it is English and it dates from c.1880. It is stamped with a pattern number “106”. The design to the top is known as the pennytop design due to the overlapping circles which resemble a row of overlapping copper pennies. This sits above plain, fluted sides. The mould is in excellent condition and, although the tinning to the interior is worn, it is still good enough for occasional use.
