Vintage English gold plated half hunter pocket watch c1910

The movement was made in Switzerland circa 1910. It was then sent to England where it was cased and sold. 

Movement – the high quality nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, a capped escape wheel and is decorated with fish scale damascening. The movement is signed “Super-Angus, Swiss Made, 17 Jewels, 4 Adjustments, Cal 529. The movement is in 90% mint condition – the whiplash on the regulator is missing

Case – the movement comes in an English gold plated half hunter case by Dennison which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in. The case has blue enamel Roman numerals on the front. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – Superb condition

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. It is signed “Hendersons, Swiss Made” and is in 100% mint condition

The watch has a synthetic glass over the dial and a mineral one in the front cover

The watch is stem wound / stem set

The watch measures 50mm wide x 15mm deep

It comes in a vintage leather box lined with silk and velvet and signed by the retailer; Garrards of London
