    About this item

A fantastic, reclaimed, cast iron lattice window dating to C.1850. The window is a rare find and has a nice design with border panels and latticework in the centre, forming small diamond panels. The window has been glazed with clear glass but some of the glass is missing, some is broken and some cracked. The window will need re-glazing. The centre lattice panel opens and the hinges are in working order. The window is in solid antique condition with some signs of wear and some damage commensurate with its considerable age. The cast iron has surface rust. The stay bar is bent upwards. There is a crack to the iron, near the base of the window. The window latch is  missing the handle. There is some residue paint and concrete around the frame. Please see pictures for condition details. The window is a fantastic period item and it will be ideal for a diy project.
