    A 9ct gold vesta case by Asprey of London. The case which is rose and yellow gold has a slide action invisible opening mechanism (patent No 21914), the outer side decorated with an engine-engraved central rose gold panel within a yellow-gold border with Greek key pattern design. The inside as a faded personal inscription with is dated 1924. 59.7grs. 6.5cm long, 5cm wide.

    Condition: The case is in excellent overall condition, the outside with only very slight signs of wear. The hallmarks and the personal inscription inside are worn but the date of the inscription is clear and is consistent with the date of the case. The Asprey London and the patent number are also clear.
