    A rare Singer machinist lamp

    These beautiful lamps, now very hard to come by, were once fixed to every seamstress's Singer sewing machine, 

    Offered for sale In completely untouched original condition, with the base marked Simanco & its serial number.

    During the mid-nineteenth century, the Singer Company became world-famous with its invention, the sewing machine. Its reported that at one point 1 in 5 people owned one.

    In 1910, the company launched a range of professional furniture for the textile industry and as you can see throughout our other carefully curated past and present stock this including items such as stools, chairs, accessories including a work light that included this particularly rare version.
