About this item
This is a long 18K gold on metal pocket watch key which has a suspension loop half way down the key.
The key has a large oval handle
The winding pipe, covered in a gold sleeve is a size 2-3.
The key has an internal ratchet so that it can only turn and wind one way, in this case clockwise thus preventing damage to watches which have a delicate fusee chain and can only be wound one way.
The key has some engine turning on the handle
The key measures 43mm long x 13mm wide and is in 85% mint condition – a little split in the seam over the ratchet and also a deep ding in the handle, represented in the price
