Large Victorian Brass Dog Collar & Lock. Big Bulldog Collar 19th Century.

This large Victorian dog collar which is made of brass comes with rolled rims, is adjustable with four slots and dates from the 19th century.

The collar which has a wonderful patina and verdigris to the inner would have been used for a large dog like a bulldog and is lockable using the padlock and key.

Dimensions: Internal Circumference (largest size when adjusted): 48 cm (19"). Height: 4.2 cm (1 5/8").

Total weight: 252 g.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some general wear. Comes with key and the padlock works as it should. Please see pictures.
