19th Century Russian Christianing Bowl,iconographic Paintings,c1820

Large ,rare and unusual antique early 19th century Russian Christening bowl,c1820. The bowl is hand carved and decorated with metal embellishments and amazing Iconographic artwork. There is script carved into the bowl which I assume is an artists signature. Overall condition is good with minor surface wear/rubbing, some historical cracking and losses to the metal work - exactly as you would expect from a piece of this age. The wood has taken on a great colour/patina and the paintings have a lovely subtle fading that only comes with age and use.
