About this item
This is a gilt metal pocket watch chain which has a large gilt bolt ring at one end and a gilt dig clip at the other. Just above this dog clip is a metal acorn shaped fob attached to another dog clip. If the two dog clips are pulled apart, spikes jump out from the fob. This was to stab any would be pickpocket
The chain is made up of a single length of curb links
The chain measures 270mm from the bolt ring to the furthest dog clip and is 2.6mm wide
