About this item
This is a silver chatelaine and fob but it does not have any assay marks for silver. It has been tested and is sold as silver.
The silver chatelaine is made from large interlocking links decorated with black niello enamel.
The chatelaine has a dog clip at one end and a square niello fob at the other with a dull black insert – material unknown
The chatelaine measures 150mm inc fob x 19mm wide. The fob is 30mm wide x 6mm wide
The chain and fob are in 90% mint condition – some light losses to the niello.
