About this item
This is a late Victorian pocket watch key which is covered in a thick layer of 15K gold.
It is not solid gold but there is gold content in this item.
The key has a button at one end, when you press it in a claw at the other end opens and closes and with this, you should be able to wind most pocket watches apart from those needing a very big key or a very small key.
The key has a suspension loop which rotates a full 360 degrees.
The key measures 38mm x 6mm and is in 90% mint condition – there is a fine line showing the seam of the two layers of gold and some little nicks to the gold casing in places. However, if you have a gold watch and chain, than this would be a wonderful accompaniment.
