The movement is an open face, stem wound / pin set
The movement has a good spring and balance
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a compensated balance. The rare feature of the movement is the patent regulator. The movement is signed “Henry Rowbottom, 35691”. The movement is in 85% mint condition – a cluster of scratches around the regulator
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands including a pointer for the regulator index which takes a prominent position in the centre of the dial. The movement is signed “Henry Rowbottom, Patent, 35691”. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The movement measures 46.9mm x 8.8mm
