This is an American pocket watch
Movement - the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “Elgin 542 USA, 17 Jewels” # L964765 and is in 85% mint condition – some scratches
Case – the movement comes in 10K Gold filled open face case, which has snap on back and bezel. The case has a carved bow, a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition
Dial – the dial has stylish gilt baton hands and number configuration. The dial is signed “Elgin, Deluxe” and is in 95% mint condition
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 45mm wide x 10mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in its original maroon coloured box with a faux leather effect. The sprung lid is lined with silk and signed "Elgin DeLuxe". The base is lined with velvet. The box is in excellent condition.
