    About this item

    This pocket watch was made in Switzerland for the English company Kays. The movement watch was sent back to England where it was cased and sold. It comes in a good quality English silver case which has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1935 and additional marks for the silver Jubilee of George V

    Movement – the 15 Jewel nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, is decorated with damascening and is signed “Swiss Made”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light marks

    Case – the movement comes in an English silver Dennison open face case, which has a hinged inner, back cover and bezel. The case has coin edged sides and engine turning on the back. The inside of the back cover has the Jubilee hallmarks and the case is in 95% mint condition – a good presentable case


    Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands, is signed “Kays Keyless Triumph, Swiss Made”. The dial is in 100% mint condition

    The watch is stem wound / stem Set

    The watch measures 48mm wide x 16mm deep

    The watch has a mineral glass – this has two tiny nicks on the edge of the glass near the 12 and 1

    The watch comes in a period leather box lined with velvet and silk
