    A rare 19th century wooden page turner.  Elephant's head 11cm x 4.5cm with 2 original ivory tusks and 1 glass eye.  When turned over elephant appears asleep on one side and awake on the other side.  Page turner wooden blade 4.25cm wide x 37cm - overall length of piece 41.5cm.  Original patina.
