About this item
This is a lovely tall torchere. It dates from the Edwardian era and stands on a lovely tripod base with nice medium length feet on a pad. The column starts at the top with gorgeous acanthus leaf carvings and then is finely reeded along its full length. The top is slightly dished and perfect for a good sized house plant. These are lovely stood in a corner or in front of a window. The wood is mahogany and the stand is nice and sturdy. It stands straight without wobbles.
The torchere measures 30cm in diameter at the top and 52cm at the feet. It stands 111cm tall
