About this item
These cushions are made from a vintage handloomed textile from East China. Its a lovely utilitarian textile, which would have been destined from work wear or bed linen. The colour is a broad band of ochre on the warp and weft, with pinstripes of red and dark blue. The ochre colour is particularly rare in these textiles as it comes from a particular cotton that is not grown any more. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
