BEAUTIFUL 20thc ANTIQUE OIL PAINTING 'Wigeon' DUCKS IN A UK WILDFOWL RESERVE

This is a wonderful mid 20th Century Oil on Board painting depicting a small flock of 'Wigeon' Ducks within the waters of the 'Stourbridge Wildfowl Nature Reserve'

Dating to Circa 1950-1960 and mounted within the wonderful original gilt moulded frame.

The piece is signed by the artist in initials lower-left corner and it is also attributed to the artist verso which reads: F. A. Byford'

Also titled verso: 'Wigeon', Stourbridge Wildfowl reserve'.

The fabulous image portrays these wonderful Ducks seen at the water's edge, with one of the Birds head's submerged beneath the surface, another paddling, one standing on a small boulder, and the other seemingly about to land in the water after its recent flying adventure.

The attention to detail throughout this painting is lovely and the birds are portrayed in great detail.
