    This is an exceptional quality all-original Edwardian period Marine Watercolour & Gouache Painting depicting the 193.7ft Tea-Clipper Sailing Ship 'Killeena'.

    The vessel was built by D. W. Henderson & Co, Glasgow, in 1875, and it went on to have a very illustrious Registration History as detailed below.

    1893 A M Knudsen, Sønderho, Fanø, Denmark - reg Denmark

    1908 A/S Killeena (T Dannevig & Co), Sandefjord

    1917 Skibs-A/S Rabes Seil (Jacob Rabe), Tønsberg

    1919 Seilskibs-A/S Killeena Ii (J. A. Jespersen), Tønsberg

    1921 Compañia Habanera de Vapores y Lanchos, Havana, Cuba - reg Havana

    Q4/1922 broken up

    The image portrays the majestic vessel on the high seas at full sail beneath a tranquil sunset.

    A stunning piece in every respect, and mounted within the magnificent quality original Oak carved and glazed frame.

    Recently newly remounted with a fresh inner slip, and ready to enjoy immediately.
