About this item
Attributed to Frederik Martin Sørvig (born January 1, 1823, in Bergen, died December 29, 1892, in the same place) created this nice and charming painting of the old city harbor of Bergen, Norway. He was one of the most famous Norwegian marine painters. The painting comes in its original gilded frame, which was regilded in 2022, and the painting itself has been cleaned.
