A monumental sized original 1960s Vintage Antique Oil on Board Painting depicting Robin Hood with his merry men within an expansive country woodland setting, probably Sherwood Forest.
The rare piece is mounted within the original substantial-sized vintage mahogany frame and it is signed lower-right corner 'Roger Collins'.
The fabulous image is extremely detailed throughout and it is a wonderful subject matter.
Robin hood can be seen toasting a drink to his men who have probably just returned from one of their adventures to eat fruit, together with the dish that the young maid is carrying towards them.
Sitting beside the table is their very well-behaved hound.
This piece will look fabulous hung on any large wall and it is offered for sale with free UK delivery.

Condition : Offered in an overall good original condition commensurate with its vintage age.
There are quite a few very small spots across parts of the surface of the painting and frame (possibly dirt or paint spots?). However, they do not show unless on very close inspection, and they certainly do not detract from the overall stunning appearance of the piece.
