Brief Description:
This is a stunning quality original early 19th Century Georgian Coloured Engraving depicting the Duke of Northumberland and the Duke of Suffolk praying for Lady Jane Gray to accept the Crown.
Published in 1803 after a painting by 'Giovanni Battista Cipriani' (Italian, 1727-1785), and mounted within the original and truly exceptional quality solid mahogany & gilt/glazed moulded frame.
