Yuri Gusev (Russian, 1928-2012) The Village Boy - Oil on Board - Dated 1958
Yuri Gusev was born in Moscow in 1928. Studied at Moscow Intermediate Art School until 1947. Then graduated from Moscow Art Academy in Moscow in 1953. Activ in Moscow. Began exhibiting in 1949. Taught at Moscow Intermediate Art School 1947- 1953. Member of the Union of Artists. His works can be found in private collections of United Kingdom, Russia, France,USA and Germany.
