Banjara cushion, red

This lovely large pinky red cushion is made from a vintage Banjara textile in a hand dyed, hand spun, hand loomed cotton. Layers of cotton fabric are stitched together with tiny quilting stitches and the patterns picked out in coloured couched threads. The needle work is very skilled in even neat stitching. I've backed the cushion with a plain linen, and there is an invisible zip fastener and feather pad.
