About this item
These cushions are made form a vintage Indian phulkari. The thick handspun and handwoven cotton khaddar is coloured a gorgeous madder brown and the embroidery is in pale yellow, pale orange and light green floss silk. Phulkari means floral work and these textiles were originally made for a bride's trousseau by her mother and grandmother. I've backed the cushions with a vintage linen, hand dyed a complimentary reddish brown and added gold coloured tassels at the corners. They are really pretty.
There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
