About this item
This is a very pretty older Swat valley marriage pillow. I've kept the pillow intact so the original front and back are still together. The embroidery is well executed in silk with an interesting pattern and lots of colour. There's lots of green (celadon) and yellow which I favour. The green in the photos has come out a bit grey, but I can send an iphone pic if needed. There are various tones in the red silk which shows that the needle-women had to use what was available and i think this adds to its charm and provenance.
Good quality Swat pillows are now escalating in price, due to scarcity and travel bans don't help!.
There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
