A Stunning Victorian Barrel Back Armchair. This chair a real tour de force, it has absolutely everything going for it, the original fluted back which makes it more comfortable to sit in, high sides to protect from the cold and keeps the heat in, all set on hand carved Oak legs. C1840
A fluted back is an elegant effect that adds more depth to your seating, this chair has been reupholstered with a high end Velvet fabric depicting a 1930’s painting of trees in Central Park, making this a one-off piece of quality furniture. A beautiful chair that would make a real statement piece in any period of modern home. One of a kind and in superb condition. (Seat H: 55cm)
