Antique Venetian mirror with cross-over frame

Antique Venetian mirror, circa 1900, with cross-over frame etched with small scallop cut edges and parallel lines cut into the back of the glass which reflect the light and catch the eye. Each corner of the mirror is secured with a large, four sectioned leaf decoration, held in place with a little flower-topped screw.  The original, central glass is bevelled and is in very good condition. There is a little age along the inner edges of the shorter sections of frame as well as in the corner pieces but this is entirely consistent with the mirror's age and does not detract from it's very attractive appearance.  This mirror can be hung portrait (as photographed) or landscape.
