About this item
A stunningly beautiful oval Victorian silver locket brooch. Made in Scotland around 1880 with 14 hand cut Montrose agates. These striated blue/gray stones are beautifully matched and really make this brooch so unusual. The front of the brooch lifts up to reveal a place for a picture. Although unmarked it tests as silver and it has an original pin and "C" clasp on the back. One of the best Scottish agate pebble brooches I have seen.
