About this item
A pair of reclaimed pine storm doors for external use. The doors are in the Georgian style and date to C.1910. Each door has three raised and fielded panels with decorative mouldings around them. The doors have a letterplate and there are two brass pull knobs and a security chain on the internal face. One door has the original house number plate attached. The doors have been painted white but the paint has marks and chips and you will need to sand and re-paint the doors to suit. The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected of antique items. The pine has some knocks, chips and surface cracks. The base of the doors have some wear and some repairs. There is some damage to the base of one door, on the inner edge, where some of the pine is missing. The doors have some holes and marks from door furniture removal. There is no key for the lock and this will need to be replaced. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very nice Georgian style appearance and will make a lovely feature for a home.
