About this item
An attractive pair of Royal Worcester porcelain straight sided cylindrical vases decorated with stylised oriental landscapes with pagodas and trees with fenced gardens, one a zig-zag "candle" type fence reminiscent of early 18th century designs. A mix of printed and painted decoration with hand coloured enamel in a green camaieu with gilt accents. The rims edged with a geometric zig-zag frieze and gilt rims. Fully factory marked to the base, dated for 1912, shape 6 over 161, pattern W9961/3 and registered design number Rg. No. 617074.
They measure 12.2cm (4 13/16") high and 6.1cm (2 3/8") wide.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair. Some light crazing and glaze lines under the base and very minor handling wear.
