    About this item

    Heals rosewood Ladderax cabinet
The modular Ladderax system where all components are hung from the two ladders, in this case one cabinet and 2 shelves can be hung in any configuration to fit your mood or room.  Created by Robert Heal in 1964 for Staples of Cricklewood the Ladderax has become the most famous modular shelving system.  A staple example of midcentury modern design the ultimate versatile storage solution. This cabinet and shelves are veneered in rosewood, which was certainly the preserve of the 'deluxe' range, the majority of these Ladderax pieces were in teak.  The cabinet with 4 adjustable glass shelves.  Sourced from an executive of Heals who had it from new, beautifully presented.
    English, circa 1970.
