About this item
A good quality, English copper preserve pan. This is marked “L. CADEC LTD”. Madame Cadec set up a store, in 1910, at 52 Greek Street, Soho, London, to sell French copper cookware. However, although bearing no manufacturers marks, this piece is of English manufacture as it has the typical form of English brass handles and the shape of the pan is also quite different to the French form of preserve pan. It is in excellent condition, with just a few very small marks to the copper on the interior.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 34.5cm. Depth of pan 11cm. Overall width including the handles 45.5cm. Overall height including the handles 12.5cm
