This is a superb solid copper cooking pot (early 19th century) in excellent condition for its age, sourced from a chateau in the Loire Valley.
An attractive oval shape, it retains the original fully functional handle, has a rolled rim, a rounded body and a very attractive verdigris colour.
A versatile piece that would make a wonderul planter, a useful storage piece in the home, or excellent fireside log storage.
There are no holes in the pot.
