Antique Swiss silver chronograph pocket watch with register c1890

This watch is complete with a good balance but the winder sometimes does not catch the winding wheels and also the button for the chronograph and fly back feature works sporadically – sometimes the register hand and centre second hand will fly back to 12, other times it can be 5 minutes past or 5 minutes before 12.

Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with exposed steel work for the start, stop, fly back and reset chronograph function with a 30 minute register. The movement is in 95% mint condition – a clean example

Case – the movement comes in a silver open face case which has silver marks for .800 silver.. The case has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has engine turning on the back and a smooth plain finish on the sides and is in 90% mint condition – two small bruises on the side.

Dial -the white enamel dial has a full set of gilt hands and a blue steel hand for the chronograph. The dial has a 30 minute register. The dial is in 99% mint condition – no damage, just light scratches and marks

The watch has a plastic glass.

The watch measures 51mm wide x 14mm deep
