This is an American pocket pocket watch made by the Waltham Watch Co and sent to England where it was cased and sold

The English silver case has hallmarks for 1901

Movement – this is gilt ¾ plate movement with a lever escapement and is “Am Watch Co, Waltham, Bond St” #9227652. The movement is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case which has a hinged inner, back and a snap on bezel. The inner case is engraved “Albert Tomason, Feb 25th 1905” and there is also a black and white photograph stuck to the inside of the back cover. The case has coin edged sides and some engine turning and is in 80% condition – Several light bruises on the back

Dial – the white enamel dial has a Pair of gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hands. The dial is signed “AWWCo, Waltham, Mass”. The dial is in 100% mint condition

The watch has a bevelled mineral glass

The watch measures 50mm wide x 13mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
