This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a very small gilt seal fob. It is a charm size and perfect to put on a charm bracelet or add to a few more pieces to make an interesting pendant
The gilt seal has a rectangular base set with a yellow foil backed stone. The stone is engraved with the intaglio of an envelope being carried by an arrow – reply fast.
The seal has a carved base and a strut handle topped with a suspension loop
The seal measures 15mm x 8mm x 7mm and is in 90% mint condition – light wear only
