A very rare pair of early 20th Century finely carved well figured mahogany marble top lamp or side tables of exceptional quality, with rich patination, grain and ormolu mounted throughout. The gorgeous moulded Emperador marble top of circular form is surmounted with decorative pierced ormolu gallery rail is raised over simple frieze embellished with finely cast ormolu flowerheads, scrolling foliate and applied flowerhead patere motif detail. Supported on elegantly, tapering ring turned leg with gorgeous fluted detail conjoined with concave shelved undertier, terminating on toupie foot finished with ormolu sabots.
