Georgian boxwood spice tower, The column with four tiers showing signs of having had labels, now worn away. The spices most commonly stored were cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, mace, cloves or ginger, the labels being added to suit.
Very good colour and patination, probably from Tunbridge Wells.
