    This is a medieval silver penny of King John of England, struck at the London Mint between 1207 - 1210 AD. 

    Obverse: ҺЄNRICVS RЄX (King Henry) Legend around crowned facing bust, holding sceptre.

    Reverse: +BENEIT ON LVNDE (Benedict of London) Legend around voided cross, with four pellets in angles.

    It is an excellent example in VF condition.
