DP0499 PAIR OF RECLAIMED GOTHIC STAINED GLASS INTERNAL PINE DOORS

A pair of very elegant reclaimed Gothic style painted pine doors with stained glass panels. The doors, suitable for internal use, have a very nice period appearance with each door having two recessed panels at the base, with decorative mouldings surrounding them. Each door has a large stained glass panel with a gothic style arched top. The glass has diamond sections, a delicate yellow border and a pretty, stylistic flower with bright colours. The doors have been painted but the paint has chips and marks and is partially sanded in places and you will need to sand and re-paint the doors to suit. The glazing bead is currently loose pinned so you can remove the stained glass panels before sanding and painting the doors. 

The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear and some slight damage to the glass, as expected. The doors have had filler applied to holes left by door furniture removal. The stained glass panels have some slight bowing. One small green piece of glass has a crack. There is a crack to one yellow border piece at the top of one door. The crack to the yellow glass will be repaired, included in the price of the doors. One diamond section of glass has an imperfection as it has a dark line in it. The doors have several small holes in the pine. The doors have had new glazing bead added and have had some quality patch repairs carried out. The pine has some knocks and chips and some notches to the inner edges. There is a crack to the pine under one of the stained glass panels (see picture 13). The hinges have some surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are very elegant and have an abundance of period charm and will make a fantastic internal feature for a home.
