DE1012 RECLAIMED OAK COTTAGE STYLE EXTERNAL DOOR WITH GLAZED PANEL

A handsome reclaimed oak cottage external door with glazed panel. The door is heavy and well made and has a very nice traditional design with vertical panels created by oak cover strips and arched detailing at the top. The door has a small glazed panel fitted with lovely bullseye glass. The door has a gothic style iron letter plate with knocker and a lock spring clip on the letterplates internal face. There is an iron pull handle on the front face and slide bolts on the internal face. The oak is stripped on the front face and varnished on the internal face. 

The door is SOLD AS SEEN and has a large split in one panel, caused by the panel bulging, and a smaller split in another panel (see last three pictures). If the door is to be used under a porch you could apply brown or clear silicone to the cracks to offer some protection. The door will need some work carried out if it is to be used as a front door without a porch offering protection from the weather. We can offer options to resolve the issues with the large split for an extra charge. The split could be filled with wood filler or the area with the split could be patch repaired but please be aware that this would show. We could also remove and replace the panel with the large split. Please contact us to discuss options and for a quote. 

The door has some signs of use and age. The oak has some small patch repairs. The oak has some scratches and discolouration. There is some filler added to holes on the drip bar. The locks have no keys and they will need replacing. The door has some knocks and surface splits, including some splits to one of the top corners. The door width and height may need some levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a very nice rustic item, ideal for a cottage or country home and has an abundance of charm and character.
