About this item
A stunning, large, ruby overlay, crystal lemonade jug with chrome plated fittings. This is made by Val St. Lambert and dates from the 1950’s. The crystal is super quality and the design is really attractive and typical of the period. It has an internal container to hold the ice to keep the lemonade cold and it is all in excellent, usable condition.
Val St. Lambert had various glassworks in Belgium, producing superb quality crystal. The company started in the 1820’s and the height of their production was between 1901 and 1914 when they had over 5000 people working there.
