About this item
A super Dutch advertising sign for Verocir beeswax encaustic floor polish, dating to the 1940s-1950s. It is made of thick card and has a cord loop attached to the top for ease of hanging. It is printed in strong colours and is a very attractive, enticing design featuring an early television screen. These cardboard signs were generally displayed in grocery shops and general stores.
The sign is in very good condition with minor signs of wear commensurate with its age. It is a great decorative piece.
